Super cute headed, well balanced filly. Moves awesome in pasture. Slides, glides and rolls back on her hocks. Should really like the cows too.
"Thumper" is a gray molly who is out of our mare Tequilalita who is our Smart Little Calboy x Smart Little Lena mare. She has produced the 2004 NFQHA National Versatility Champion in the Non-Pro Division.
This mule belongs to Casey and Debbie Stout, (Janets Brother and sister in law). She was born on Easter. Casey wouldn't let us name her Bunny but said Thumper would do!
"Bonus" is a grullo john who is out of our mare Blu Beary Chex. She is a Jackie Bee, Mr. San Peppy bred. She is a NFQHA point earner. This is Janets mule. We had to tease Tom and Bonnie Lee on this one that they made a mistake and bred Blu Beary to a zebra instead of their jack....He was born on April 30th. Janet calles him Bo for short!
In 2005 Janet and her brother Casey decided that they would like to try MULES!
I just about Had a Heart Attack.........I have NEVER been around mules and had no intention of starting now BUT after a bit of convincing and alot of thought and research on my part, I decided that instead of just buying who knows what kind of mule out of what kind of mare and donkey that we would use our nice broodmares to raise the best mule possible. We chose Tom and Bonnie Lee 's Jack "Lonesome Me" and then chose the mares that we thought would do the best job based on disposition and conformation.
